The custom of saying Tikkun Leil Shavuot was very common in all Jewish communities and the order of these prayers was instituted by the kabbalists.
The edition before us is the first to be printed in Zhitomir (with red printing on the title page) at the publishing house of the Shapira family, descendants of the famous Shapira family who had a publishing house in Slavita - the grandsons of Rabbi Pinhas of Koritz. It was well-known that in the Chassidic courts, great importance is attributed to printed books, and especially prayer books that were printed in this prestigious publishing house.
