Arba’ah Ve’esrim – Rare Edition of Tanach in Hebrew. Venice 1547.
Exceptionally rare edition of the Chumash only. Although the title page states ‘Arba’ah Ve’esrim - Twenty-Four’, alluding to the 24 books of the entire Tanach, only this edition was ever published. Four years later, in 1551, the Haftorot were added.
This copy includes the entire Chumash. Page 1 and 1 of the last unpaginated leaves are missing.
Venice 1547. Giustiniani.
160 leaves. 20 cm.
Good condition. Title page slightly restored over the corner lettering. Lovely restored antique leather binding.
