This book is an explanatory work on the Bible. Printed by Yehuda Beck’s grandsons, Prague.


It includes a number of compositions culled from Rabbi Bezalel Ashkenazi’s manuscript that were not previously printed: The Rosh and The Ra’avad’s commentary on Tractate Tamid; ‘Tosafot HaRosh’ on Perek Mashuach Milchama and Perek Eglah Arufa, as well as on Tractates Horiyot, Kinnim and Midot; the Ritva’s commentary on Perek Chelek; Rabbi David Bonfied’s (a disciple of the Ramban) commentary on Perek Arba Mitot. (The commentary in this work attributed to the Ra’avad is that of one of the sages of Ashkenaz, the commentary in this composition attributed to the Ritva, is that of Rabbi David Bonfied.)
