Lechem Mishneh, on the Rambam. Venice [1604-1606].– First Edition
Sefer Yesod-  One of the leading commentators on the Rambam. The famed elucidation of the Rambam's Sefer Mishneh Torah, by Rabbi Avraham de Botton of Salonika.  Two sections in a single, large and impressive volume.
In this first edition, the book was printed without the Rambam; in the following editions, it was always printed on the sheet of the Rambam alongside the Maggid Mishneh and the Kesef Mishneh.
On the guard leaf at the end of the book, there are 4 lines in ancient Sephardic script.

Venice, [1605-1606]. First edition.
42, 163; 239 [i.e. 142] leaves – in leaf 8 (of the second pagination) there is a small tear to the upper part of the leaf, slightly affecting the text. 30.5 cm. Two sections, the second one with an additional title page. Ornate title pages. Good condition. Some moth perforations and stains. Bright quality paper. Leather-covered wooden binding, ancient and elegant, with traces of buckles for closing.
