First Edition in the Author's Lifetime.
Complete and especially fine copy of Sefer Tiferet Yisrael by the Maharal of Prague, which was published already in his lifetime.
The purpose of the book is to explain the depth of the concepts of Limud Torah, Matan Torah and the Shavu'ot festival.
Complete copy with the rare leaf of omissions at the end of the book, which is missing from many copies.
Venice, [1599]. First edition in the author's lifetime.
65 leaves. 29.5 cm. Very good condition. The title page is slightly trimmed close to the border. Some stains. Some perforations. Bright quality paper. Bound in a fine new half-leather binding.
