Rare Commentary on the Passover Haggadah that was Written in Prison - Be'er Avraham. Sulzbach, [1708]. Single Edition. - Sefer Be'er Avraham, commentary on the Passover Haggadah [with the text], authored by Rabbi Avraham Gratti of Prague, the son of R. Mendel Gratta of Bomsala, the son-in-law of R. Shimon Lavtitz of Prague, the son of R. Moshe Peretz  Zwolle who was Av Beit Din and Ram of Sneituch.  With an approbation by the order of the Gaon Rabbi Avraham Broda, the Rosh Yeshiva of Prague and Rav of Pihem (the approbation is signed by R. Yehuda Leib Katz, scribe of the Beit Din of Prague).  The above approbation states that the author authored his commentary on the Passover Haggadah when he was imprisoned for his debts, which he accrued due to his extreme poverty.  Varied notations in ancient script in Hebrew and a foreign language on the flyleaves at the beginning and end of the book.   Sulzbach, [1708].
