Extremely Rare - Sefer Michtav Techiya. Kushta, [1569]. Single Edition. - Michtav Techiya, on the resurrection of the dead, was written in the late 13th century by R. Yehuda ibn Zabara, a disciple of the Ro'eh. It deals with the doctrines of R. Abraham ibn Chiya, the Rambam, the Ramban, and especially that of his Rav, the Ro'eh, to whom he attributes a rarely discussed new perception, all pertaining to the resurrection of the dead.  Originally, this book was edited alongside the Rambam's Mamar Techiyat Hameitim by Rabbi Shem Tov ben Minich.  leaf [55, 2-56, 1]: postface by Rabbi Yehuda ben Rabbi Avraham Zarko, with a poem beginning with the words: זמן ביום גלה. יקר תבל כלה. On the eighth leaf there is an owner's signature of Yonah Ashkenazi - apparently, the Shadar Rabbi Yonah Shoshana Ashkenazi, a Shadar of Safed. In this copy: [23] leaves (only of the book Michtav Techiya). 17.5 cm. Good-fair condition. Stains.
