Important Second Edition. - Sefer Ya'arot Devash, two sections, Sermons and Mussar lessons, by the Gaon Rabbi Yehonatan Eibeschitz.  The copy of the chairman of the Orthodox community of Budapest, Rabbi Avraham von Freudiger De Óbuda, whose stamps appear on the flyleaf. In addition, ancient and important handwritten ownership notations on the flyleaf and the title pages of the two sections of the book.  Printed at the beginning of the book is a large and impressive copper-engraved picture of the author, Rabbi Yehonatan Eibeschitz - due to the reverence felt toward him by many, the picture was ripped off from many copies; however, in this copy, it exists! Sefer Ya'arot Devash is one of the most important and well-known Drush books.  ”Verily I tell you that in all my days and years on earth, I did not value an hour more than this one when I stand before you to deliver words of rebuke and lead many back from sin” (Ya'arot Devash, Drush 11) .  Rabbi Avraham Freudiger (1868 Budapest - 1939 Budapest)  Rabbi Ábrahám von Freudiger De Óbuda: the son of Moses Freudiger. Was an industrialist and community leader. In his youth studied at the Németkeresztúr Yehsiva and the Tzehlom Yeshiva. Founded the complex of the synagogue on Kazinczyutca Street, Budapest. In 1913, succeeded his father as chairman of the Orthodox community of Budapest and held the position until his passing in 1939. Served also as the national chairman of the Finance Committee of the Orthodox Jewish community of Hungary and was on eof its major spokesmen, Used to publish articles in Jewish journals.  Vienna, [1818].
