Sefer Ateret Shlomo, commentary on Sha'arei Dura by the Maharshal. An important work on Hilchot Yoreh Deah by Rabbi Yitzchak of Dura, one of the leading Poskim of Germany. The book is based on German and French ritual customs and became a Sefer Yesod for Hilchot Yoreh Deaj. The Maharshal's comments are a basic commentary on this important book. On verso of the title page, a foreword by the publisher, R. Yosef Joseph ben Rabbi Yehuda. The last 7 leaves are rare and missing from many copies. They contain Sefer Shechitot Ubedikot by Rabbi Yaakov Weill with a commentary by Rabbi Shlomo Luria. A fine ancient illustration appears on the flyleaf (the blank leaf preceding the title page).
