Chamisha Chumshei Torah and Chamesh Megillot with the Haftarot for All Year Round. Amsterdam, [1755-1756]. Extremely Rare Edition. - ”Chamisha Chumshei Torah and Chamesh Megillot and at its end, the Haftarot for all year round per the tradition of the communities [the Ashkenazim and Sephardim]... and now with Simanim and from Sefer Taryag Mitzvot...” On the inside front board there is an ex-libris sticker of ”ש”צ ק”ק תלמוד תורה”. On the title page of the Chumash: שנת לא י’מ’ו’ש’ ס’פ’ר התורה הזה מפיך’ [1756]'; on the title page of the Haftarot: 'בשנת וכתב י’ש’ר’ ד’ברי א’מת [1755]'. Printed on verso of the title page of the Chumash is a fine Piyyut, each of its words implying a Parasha, based on the order of the Chumashim. The title of the Piyyut: ”רשום בכתב ראש[!] סדרי תורה”. It was authored by Rabbi Shlomo di Oliveira, Rosh Av Beit Din of Amsterdam. Was published for the first time in Amsterdam in 1666. On leaf 154b to leaf [2], a table of the Parashiyot for the Moadim and then Inyan Haparshiyot ...achar Yedi'at Siman Hashana and then Mizmorim that are said on Sabbath related to the Parashiyot. The second section of the ”Haftarot for all year round per the Ashkenazic and Sephardic traditions with Peirush Hamilot has a separate title page. This copy does not contain the Peirush Hamilot. An edition of the Haftarot with Peirush Hamilot was enclosed with the Amsterdam 1754-1756 edition. Amsterdam, [1755-1756]. Proops Press. 154, [2]; 48 leaves. 13 cm. Very good condition. Aging stains.
