Sefer Yere'im - Pedigreed Copy of the Rabbis of the Bamberger Family and Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Luntshitz Av Beit Din of Westhoffen. Venice, [1566]. First Edition. Sefer Yesod. - Sefer Yere'im, elucidation on Taryag Mitzvot, by Rabbeinu Eliezer of Metz, one of Ba'alei Hatosafot, a halachic Sefer Yesod. The author was one of the leading disciples of Rabbeinu Tam and is frequently introduced in the Tosfot of the Shas. His leading disicples were the Ra'avyah and Baal Haroke'ach.  The structure of the book is unique. The author divided the entire Taryag Mitzvot (based on the Ba'al Halachot Gedolot) to 'Amudim' (pages), such as the page of 'Achilot' (eating) which elucidates all , matters pertaining to Issurei Achilah, a page of 'Zemanin' (times) for the Mo'adim, a page of 'Dinim' for Dinei Choshen Mishpat and so on.  On the flyleaf and on the inside front board there is an ownership notation, Signature and stamp of the rabbis of the Bamberger family:  On the inside front binding, an ownership notation indicating the book had belonged to the Gaon Rav Yitzchak Dov (Seligman Baer) Halevi Bamberger, the famed Rav of Wurzburg -  ”משום לעלת”מ [לפני עיוור לא תתן מכשול] אחתום את שם אאמ”ו הגאב”ד כש”ת... יצחק דוב הלוי באמבערגער החונה פק”ק ווי”ב [וירצבורג] והגליל יע”א”. Beneath this ownership notation, the signature of his son, Rabbi Natan Bamberger who succeeded him as Rav of Wurzburg. On the flyleaf, the stamp of another son, Rabbi Moshe Aryeh (Leib) Halevi Bamberger, the Rav of Bad Kissingen, Germany. On the inside front board there is also a large and special ex-libris sticker.  On the title page of the book, handwritten ownership notations and important signatures of the following:   Elyakim Gets bar Meir and his son, Wolf bar Getz Neter.  Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Luntshitz , who writes that the above Wolf Neter gave him the book as a gift - Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Luntshitz Av Beit Din of Westhoffen, Elsas, author of Kelilat Yoffi. Was a descendant of the author of the Kli Yakar of Prague, as he states in his introduction to his book Kelilat Yoffi.  An additional ownership notation in Ashkenazic script on leaf 3 and an additiona owner's signature on leaf 40.  Rabbi Yitzchak Dov (Seligman Baer) Halevi Bamberger (1807-1878): The Rav of Wurzburg, POsek Halacha and one of the leading rabbis of Germany in the 19th century. Was famed for his dispute with the Rashar Hirsch about the seceding of the Orthodox Jews from communities with a majority of Liberal-Reform Jews and the establishment of separate communities. The Rashar Hirsch supported the step while Rabbi Bamberger objected to it. Was one of the people who laid the foundations for Community Orthodoxy (Gemeindeortodoxie) in Germany.  Rabbi Natan Bamberger (1842-1919) : the Chief Rabbi of Wurzburg and Bavaria. Succeeded his father, Rabbi Yitzchak Dov, as Rav of Wurzburg. He did a lot for the residents of Eretz Yisrael and personally corresponded with Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld and Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Hacohen Kook (Rabbi Bamberger was the one who rescued Harav Kook from jail at the beginning of World War I and hosted him in his home until Harav Kook moved to Switzerland). Rabbi Bamberger made it a habit to purchase Hebrew books and it is estimated that his religious library was tge largest contemporary library in Germany.  Rabbi Moshe Areyeh (Leib) Halevi Bamberger (1838-1899): Rabbi Natan Bamberger's brother. Rav of Bad Kissingenm Germany. The son-in-law by his first marriage of Rabbi Yaakov Ettlinger, the Aruch Laner. His grnadson was Rabbi Ben Zion Bamberger, the Mashgi'ach of the Ponovezh Yeshiva. Another grandson was Rabbi DR. Simcha Bamberger. His great-grandson was Rabbi Yehoshua Yeshaya Neubart, the author of the Shemirat Shabbat Kehilchata.   Venice, [1566].
