Bine'ot Deshe. Poritzk, [1819]. Second and Extremely Rare Edition - Sefer Bine'ot Deshe, Mussar and rebuke, Piskei Dinim, Viduyim and Hanhagot, by the Gaon Rabbi Shlomo, the son of the Tzaddik Rabbi Massud Adahan.  Chacham Shlomo Adahan : was born in Tafilalt, Morocco in ca. 1700. Studied Torah under his father, Chacham Massud Adahan, who was a Marbitz Torah in Tafilalt, Morocco, and under his grandfather, the physician Chacham Shlomo Adahan. He himself settled in Tétouan, northern Morocco, serving as a Rav and Moreh Tzeddek.  To print his book Bine'ot Deshe, he travelled to Amsterdam, Holland, where he printed the book in 1735. Ever since, the book had multiple editions (see Sefer Malchei Rabbanan p. 118).  Poritzk, [1819]. The Press of Shlomo ben Chanina. Second and extremely rare edition.  The place of printing and printer's name are based on Avraham Yaari, Hadfus HaIvri Beporitzk, Kiryat Sefer, 20, 1943-1944, p. 113. no. 38.  56 leaves. 17 cm. Very good condition. Fine, impressive copy - fine ancient binding. Quality, bluish paper. Tiny, single moth perforation to the last three leaves.  This edition of this important book was never auctioned.
