Rare - Netzer Chessed and Adam Yashar (Komarno) - with the Rare Amulet. Lviv, [1856]. First Edition. - Two works by the Mekubal Rabbi Yitzchak Yehuda Yechiel Sofrin of Komarno: * Sefer Netzer Chessed - elucidation on Masechet Avot, ”based on the Kabbalah and Avodah of Maran... Ribash [the Baal Shem Tov] by the Admor Rabbi Yitzchak Yehuda Yechiel Sofrin of Komarno.  * Sefer Adam Yashar - Segulot and prayers for a time of plague. This work is extremely rare; the last 9 leaves of Sefer Adam Yashar are missing from many of the copies. In the copy of the Gershom Scholem Library of the National Library, the famed Kabbalah scholar, Gershom Scholem, wrote about this book: ” Practical Kabbalah and Segulot and Yichudim, and it is unknown and extremely rare ”. The books were published by his son and successor Rabi Eliezer Zvi Sofrin in his father the author's lifetime.  The rare amulet- ” Whenever he carries the amulet...he should not fear the plague ”:  Appearing at the end of Sefer Adam Yashar is an illustration-amulet of a palm on most of the page combining sacred names and Kabbalistic combinations.  The Segulah of the amulet was written on the lower part of the leaf: ”And he should put a penny in this amulet and whenever he carries the amulet with the penny he should not fear the plague. Anyone who writes this amulet in time of a plague, only life to him and all his surroundings” .  The author wrote the amulet after several plagues had broken out in his days and printed it on a separate leaf at the end of his book which deals with Segulot and prayers for a time of plague.  This amulet is extremely rare since the last leaf on which it was printed was  torn out of many copies of Sefer Adam Yashar (which in itself is extremely rare) by people who wanted it for protection. This is a complete copy of this special book with the famed amulet .  The Admor, the Mekubal Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Yehuda Yechiel Sofrin (1806-1874) : Av Beit Din of Ziditchov and Komarno, one of the leading Ma'atikei Hashmu'ah of the Baal Shem Tov's Torah. The nephew and disciple of Sar Beit Hazohar, the Admor Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Ziditchov. Was beloved by leading Chassidic rabbis including the Chozeh of Lublin (who was even his Shadchan), the Rav of Apta, Rabbi Moshe Zvi of Savran, his uncle Rabbi Moshe of Sambor, Rabbi Yisrael of Ruzhin and more. The author of many Chassidic and Kabbalistic books including the Heichal Haberacha commentary on Chamisha Chumshei Torah, which is based on the Ari's and the Baal Shem Tov's Kabbalah. Chumash Heichal Haberacha is a Sefer Yesod of Chassidic and Kabbalistic thought. Many Admorim (including those of Ziditchov, the Divrei Chaim and his descendants, the Tzemach Tzeddek of Lubavitch and more) liked his works, praising their sanctity and virtue.  Lviv, [1856].
