Leshon Limudim. Mantova, [1727]. With Rare Final Pages! - The first work by Rabbeinu the Ramchal the author of the Mesilat Yesharim. Rare and valuable.  Including the rare final pages. First edition of Sefer Leshon Limudim by the Mekubal Rabbi Moshe Chaim Luzzatto, who wrote the book when he was abput 17 years old. At the beginning of the book, the Ramchal's dedication to his leading Rav - Rabbi Yeshayahu Bassan. Approbations by Rabbi David Finzi the Rav of Italy, who eventually became his in-law, and an approbation by Rabbi Shimshon Hacohen Modon. At the end of the book, poem by the printer in honor of the author.  In 1727, the year in which the book was printed, the Ramchal had his first revelation of the Maggid who revealed Torah secrets  to him.  Rabbeinu Moshe Chaim ben Yaakov Chai Luzzatto - the Ramchal (1707-1790) : the author of the Mesilat Yesharim and many more Kabbalistic and Mussar books. One of the leading sages of all generations, a Mekubal who saw Eliyahu Hanavi and Heavenly angels-Maggidim, and based on their words, wrote a second Zohar.  Despite being a controversial figure in his time, the Ramchal was eventually accepted by all Jewish communities. It is told that HaGra of Vilna said that if the Ramchal had been alive, he would have gone to him by foot to study Mussar and Midot.   Mantova, [1727]. First edition.  56, [1] leaves. 16.5 cm.
