Reshit Chochmah by the Mekubal Rabbi Eliyahu de Vidas. Munkatch, 1891-1898 - Pedigreed copy of the author of the Arugat Habosem - a disciple of the Ketav Sofer, with a dedication handwritten by him to his disciple - the Tzaddik of Schotz - Rabbi Zeev Wolf Tirneuer Av Beit Din of Shamloy and glosses handwritten by him.  Sefer Reshit Chochmah by the Mekubal Rabbi Eliyahu de Vidas. Munkatch, [1891-1898].  On the title page, a fine dedication handwritten and signed by the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Greenwald Av Beit Din of Chust, who gave the book as a gift to his disciple Rabbi Zeev Wolf Tirneuer, then of Satmar, for his wedding, with warm, cordial blessings.  Signatures and stamps, lengthy glosses and notations handwritten by the recipient of the book, the Tzaddik of Schotz - the Gaon Rabbi Zeev Wolf Tirneuer.   The Gaon Rabbo Moshe Greenwald the author of Arugat Habosem [1852-1910]: one of the leading rabbis and Poskim of Hungary, a leading disciple of the Ketav Sofer in Pressburg and the disciple of the leading disicples of the Chatam Sofer, Rabbi Menachem Katz and his grandfather, Rabbi Yosef Greenwald. From his youth, he became attached to Chassidut and used to travel to the Tzaddikim of Belz and Shinova. Was Rav of the pedigreed communities of Homna and Kleinwardein until becoming the Rav and leader of Chust. In his days, the Chust Yeshiva became the largest and most important yeshiva in Hungary, with many students from all over the world even the USA.  The Tzaddik of Schotz - the Gaon Rabbi Zeev Wolf Tirneuer (1882-1959) : the beloved disciple of the Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Greenwald Av Beit Din of Satmar and of Rabbi Moshe Greenwald Av Beit Din of Chust and author of Arugat Habosem. Served as Dayan of Shamloy. After World War I, served as Rav in Lespetz (Moldova), Schotz (Bukovina) and more. After the Holocaust, in 1950, immigrated to Safed with his son-in-law the Admor Rabbi Aharon Leifer of Nadvorna and served as Rav of the Agudat Yisrael Beit Midrash. Was a Gaon and sacred man. Many of his customs were based on Kabbalah. In his old age, published his book Tal Orot on Melachot Shabbat; most of his other writings, however, were never published.  276 leaves. 23.5 cm.
