Kol Yaakov. Venice, [1658] - First and rare edition of a book of Pardes-based Drushim.  At the beginning of the book, an introduction by the author on the pogroms in Poland. At the end of the book, a lament on the victims of the riots, sages of Poland [the 1648-1649 Riots or Khmelnytsky Uprising]. Apparently, the author himself, Rabbi Yaakov Kopel Margalit, was held captive when the riots occurred.  Most of the Drushim are Pardes-based. The last page has an ornate border in it the author printed the colophon.  Venice, [1658]. First edition.  11, [2] leaves. Very good condition. Old detached binding.  Rare book.
