Astronomy Manucript. Chochmat HaIbur. Morocco, 18th Century - Manuscript on astronomy - the new moon - Chochmat Ha-Ibbur, with a commentary by Rabbi Shalom ibn Tzur.  Written at the beginning of the manuscript: ”A book of small quantity and high quality about Chochmat HaIbur, by Rabbi Shalom ibn Tzur...” Rabbi Shalom ibn Tzur's work is in the format of a poem, with a detailed commentary by the author on each verse. The work was printed as as an addition to the book Tziltzelei Shema, Piyyutim by Rabbi Moshe ibn Tzur, Alexandria 1892.  The manuscript contains illustrations of palms with calculations of the years. The manuscript was handwritten in square, eloquent Mughrabi script.  28 pp. [14] leaves. 15.5 cm.  Good condition. New half-leather binding.
