Sefer Reshit Chochmah (with the First Edition of Igeret HaRamban) - Handwritten Comments. Venice, [1579]. First Edition - Sefer Reshit Chochmah, Techochot Mussar, Inyanei Kedusha and Tikkunei Teshiva - Sefer Yesod of Mussar books, by the Mekubal Rabbi Eliyahu de Vidas, the Ramak's disciple. With Igeret HaRamban printed in it for the first time.  Inside the book there are dozens of handwritten comments, some of them lengthy . Igeret HaRamban, first edition : Printed for the first time in Sha'ar HaAnavah chapter VI (leaves 355b-366a) is the famed Igeret HaRamban.  Igeret HaRamban is a wonderful Mussar missive sent by the Ramban to his son, Rabbi Nachman, from Acre to Catalonia, Spain. The missive deals mainly with the virtue of humility. Therefore, the author of the Reshit Chochmah printed it in Sha'ar HaAnavah (Gate of Humility).  Rabbi Shlomo Algazi writes in his book Me'ulefet Sapirim (Kushta, 1660) that on the day a person reads this missive, he will be given by Heaven anything he asks for and anyone who reads it regularly will be saved from any trouble and for him, the World to Come is guaranteed.  Venice, [1579]. The first 9 leaves are not in such good condition with some small tears and taping. The title page was professionally restored and completed.
