Manuscript, Early Copying of Seder Gittin and Chalitzah by Rabbi Yaakov ben Moshe Margaliot - This is an early copying of a work on Hilchot Gittin by Rabbi Yaakov ben Moshe Margaliot of Nürnberg - the Dinim of writing a Gett, the shape of the letters, version of the Gett, delivery order and more.  Seder Hagett and Seder Hachalitzah : Rabbi Yaakov wrote a lengthy work titled Seder Hagett detailing all the Halachot of the Gett and its customs, based on the Ashkenazic tradition. This work was accepted by all Ashkenazic communities, especially after the Rema introduced it word-for-word in his work Darkei Moshe and wrote that it was adopted by all these communities. Rabbi Yaakov also wrote a similar book on Hilchot Chalitzah titled Seder Chalitzah. The works had two different editions that were published by his son, Rabbi Isaac Margaliot, one in Nürnberg and the other in Regensburg and they are known as Seder Hagett HaAroch and Seder Hagett Hakatzar.   Enclosed with the manuscript is a small notebook written by someone who studied the manuscript. At its beginning, a German notation describing the manuscript and estimating the time of its writing (he estimates it was written in 1551!). Later, there is a notation of names referred to by the manuscript .  On the lower part of the first leaf of the manuscript there is a fine handwritten ornate illustration.  On leaf [6] (21 according to the copyist's pagination) there are illustrations of a pointing hand, possibly to mark a Chidush.  On leaf [8] (23 according to the copyist's pagination), the year [1571] is referred to.  [40] leaves - there is also pagination of the leaves by the copyist in Hebrew letters - these leaves are part of a handwritten copying and leaves from its beginning and midldle are missing. Good condition. Quality paper. Aging stains. Some taping. Some detached leaves. Bound in a new binding.
