Shut Maharik. Cremona, [1557-1558] - One of the earliest Sifrei Yesod of Jewish Psikah.  Rabbi Yosef Kolon Trabotto [1420-1480], one of the leading Poskim of Italy of the 15th century. Studied Torah under his father, Rabbi Shlomo, who was a descendant of Rashi, and under Rabbi Mordechai Natan. Served as Rav and Rosh Yeshiva in Piedmont. Later, he served as Rav and Rosh Yeshiva in Mantova and in his old age, in Pavia, where he passed away and was buried. His notable disciples include Rabbi Ovadya of Bartenura, the leading commentator of the Mishnah. The book is quoted numerous times in Halachic books, mainly in Bet Yosef by Maran Rabbi Yosef karo. Magnificent title page with an engraving of the Binding of Yitzchak on its upper part. [ 12], 172 leaves. Leaf 44 is missing - was completed with fine artistic script. Very good overall condition.
