Rare Silver Spice Holder for Havdalah, Made by the Bezalel Artist - Moshe Zabari. New York ca. 1970. - Clean modern-classic silver work, handmade. Signed by the important Bezalel artist Moshe Zabari.  Rounded spice box with a special eliptic base. On it, embossed Hebrew letters also made of silver forming the Hebrew word Besamim (spices).  A delicate and most elegant item made by Zabari when he worked at the Tobe Pascher Workshop for Modern Jewish Art in New York.  Moshe Zabari : an Israeli Judaica artist, born in 1935 in Jerusalem.  Studied at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design during the years 1955-1958.  In his work, Zabari combines modern art and traditional Jewish art, while ensuring his items are also functional.
