Kit of the Personal Stamps of Rabbi Avraham Bigago - One of the important Sephardic rabbis of Jerusalem - Chief Mohel and the almost only one of this community and Rav and Mohel of the extinct Jewish community of Portugal.  Original kit of 6 personal ink stamps and an old tin dreidel which had belonged to Rabbi Avraham Bigago.  Rabbi Avraham Bigago (1858-1923) was Rav and Dayan, Moreh Tzeddek, an expert and only Shochet and Bodek who circumcised most of the members of the Sephardic community of Jerusalem in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, including important figures. About Rabbi Avraham Bigago, his friend, Chaim Michl Michlin, wrote in his eulogy that he was one of the important Sephardic sages of Jerusalem, a scribe and active Gabai of the Misgav Ladach hospital who was beloved by all Jewish communities of Jerusalem. In the 19th century, Rabbi Avraham Bigago served as Rav and Shochet of the Jewish community of Faro, Portugal - a community that became extinct in the 20th century due to negative migration of the younger generation to large cities.  Provenance: The Bigago Family Collection.
