Anti-Semitic Porcelain Jar. Apparently Austria ca. 1910 - Large jar shaped as a Jew, ridiculing his appearance. Anti-Semitic porcelain work apparently made in Austria in the early 20th century. The Jew has a pointy nose and beard and missing teeth. The jar can be opened in its middle for things to be stored inside. Many anti-Semitic porcelain works were made in the first half of the 20th century, indicating a wave of anti-Semitism that spread in Western Europe.
