Classic Back-Plate Hanukkah Lamp Made of Gilt Silver. Russia-POland, 1880 - Impressive Hanukkah Menorah, made of silver and gilt silver. Hallmarked with Russian hallmarks - the silversmith OC and halmark of 84, from 1880. Impressive back-plate rich with pieces made of gilt silver shaped as animals: peacocks, lions, unicorn and gazelle.  At the top of the lamp, a gilt crown held by two winged animals.  Provenance: The Bloch Family Collection, Melbourne-Australia.
