Large Etrog Box Decorated with Jewish Scenes and Verses - Silver-plated copy of a work by the artist M. Farbman from Germany in the late 19th century.  The box is covered with scenes from Sukkot and Simchat Torah: building the Sukkah, KIddush in the Sukkah and a a Jewish community dancing with Sifrei Torah.  Illustrated in A Guide to Jewish Art, 1989, p. 160 and in The Art of Judaism, 1979, p. 110 Provenance: The Bloch Family Collection, Melbourne-Australia .
