Silver Mezuzah Designed by the Artist Chava Wolpert. New York, 1990 - Clean and elegant silversmithing by Ludwig Wolpert's daughter.  Chava Wolpert Richard (1933-2015) : the daughter of the famed Judaica artist Ludwig Wolpert. She established herself as an appreciated and innovative Judaica artist in her own right. Wolpert Richard was born and raised in Israel. She studied at the Bezalel Academy of Arts (where her father headed the silversmithing workshop) and was greatly influenced by the modernist Bauhaus style. Evetually, she joined her father at the Toby Pascher Workshop of the Jewish Meseum in New York, where she continued to develop her work until its closure in 1989.
