Original Pair of Dreidels Made by the Bezalel Artist Chava Wolpert. Israel 1993. Signed. - Unique pair of Dreidels by Ludwig Wolpert's daughter - Chava Richard Wolpert. Enamel and copper. On the upper surface of the Dreidels there is a relief of the Temple Menorah. The body of the Dreidel is made of enamel in shades of blue and red,   Chava Wolpert Richard (1933-2015): the daughter of the famed Judaica artist Ludwig Wolpert. She established herself as an appreciated and innovative Judaica artist in her own right. Wolpert Richard was born and raised in Israel. She studied at the Bezalel Academy of Arts (where her father headed the silversmithing workshop) and was greatly influenced by the modernist Bauhaus style. Evetually, she joined her father at the Toby Pascher Workshop of the Jewish Meseum in New York, where she continued to develop her work until its closure in 1989.
