Silver Kiddush Cup. Baghdad, Iraq, 19th Century - Original matching set: heavey silver cup, impressive and original, with a silver coaster, handcrated by a silversmith in Iraq of the 19th century. The cup is elegantly designed and decoratd with fine engravibgs of plants. Hallmark on its bottom. The coaster was crafted by the same silversmith and it too is original and hallmarked. Decorated with the same motifs.  This unique design is typical of Iraqi Jews.
