'Even Pinah' - Bronze Work by the Artist Moshe Zabari. New York, 1960s - Special Jewish work of art made by the important artist Moshe Zabari. The work was inspired by the verse from Yeshayahu: ”לָכֵן כֹּה אָמַר אֲדנָי יְהֹוִה הִנְנִי יִסַּד בְּצִיּוֹן אָבֶן אֶבֶן בֹּחַן פִּנַּת יִקְרַת מוּסָד מוּסָּד הַמַּאֲמִין לֹא יָחִישׁ” (Thus said the Sovereign G-d Behold, I will found in Zion stone by stone a tower of precious cornerstones exceedingly firm; One who trusts need not fear). Designed as a rectangular stone with a relief of the above verse. On its left, a bronze square with the English translation of the verse (A tried stone a costly corner stone of sure foundation he that believeth shall not make haste). Zabari was invited to the Jewish Museum in 1961, several years after he graduted from Bezalel (1955-1958).
