Small and Rare Torah Scroll. Ashkenaz, 19th Century - A common custom in Chassidic communiites was to write a small Sefer Torah for Admorim and Gedolei Yisrael, to observe 'וקרא בו כל ימיו' (and he shall read it all the days of his life).  Especially small Torah Scroll. The letters are in fine, calligraphic, miniscule scribal script, amazingly readable. Small and ancient Torah Scrolls are extremely rare and were often written for important rabbinic figures.  The Sefer Torah is rolled on Atzei Chaim made of original wood of the 19th century.  Height of script: 16.5 cm.  Height of vellum: 23 cm.  The Scroll is not sold as Kosher yet is nevertheless in wonderful condition.
