Yosef Ibn Kaspi (in abbreviated form), and “Kodesh HaKodashim” by Rabbi Yaakov Provenzalo (also known as She’ar Yashuv). Constantinople, [circa 1577 – possibly the year 5337 / של”ז]. Includes a moving preface by the publisher, R. Yitzchak ben Avraham Akrish, a noted figure among the Spanish exiles. In his introduction, he recounts his personal exile from Spain during the Expulsion. 16 leaves (the double preface adds an extra unnumbered leaf). Some leaves with minor restoration to margins. One area with slight loss of text. One leaf supplied in facsimile. Concludes with handwritten Torah insights on the final printed page and on an additional leaf, in an early script. Includes a few glosses referencing source texts in ancient script.
