A Complete Manuscript by the Kabbalist Rabbi Moshe Cohen Kalfon 'Mohram' A manuscript on the matters of treifot (non-kosher animals) and more, autograph in the handwriting of the esteemed kabbalist Rabbi Moshe Cohen Kalfon 'Mohram'. Parts of it were likely written in his early years. It seems that this work was never printed - it should be carefully compared with his book Zevachei Kehunah. Our Rabbi served in his youth as a skilled slaughterer in the community of Zarzis under his Rabbi, who was the Rabbi of the city, and therefore likely dealt extensively with these laws. The great genius of Djerba, Rabbi Moshe Kalfon (תרל”ד -תש”י), a revered Torah giant, was recognized for his greatness from a young age. He was a leader of the Jewish community of Djerba and a member of the great rabbinical court. Rabbi Moshe Mazuz often mentioned him with great respect in his classes. Rabbi Kalfon authored many books on all areas of Torah. Approximately two hundred pages, a significant portion of them are written, with some strengthening notes, slight tears, and a beautiful half-leather binding.
