Splendor and Glory! The Holy Zohar, Slavita 1827 Zohar HaKadosh, Sitrei Torah, by Rabbeinu Shimon Bar Yochai 'the Rashbi', printed by Rabbi Shmuel Avraham son of Rabbi Moshe of Slavita, Slavita 1827. This edition was printed with the approbations of the holy Geonim: the author of the 'Degel Machaneh Ephraim', Rabbi Chaim HaKohen, Av Beit Din of Pinsk, Rabbi Mordechai Margolios of Brod, zya”a, and others. The book bears an ownership signature of Rabbi Shmuel Pardo (possibly a descendant of Rabbi David Pardo, author of 'Chasidei David' on the Tosefta). Volume I – Bereishit: [4], 251, 17 leaves. Very good condition, minor marginal wear on a few leaves, light staining, tiny reinforcement on the last leaf. Volume II – Shemot: [1], 17, 19–278 leaves. Very good condition, a few minor paper reinforcements. Volume III – Vayikra–Bamidbar–Devarim: 115; [1], 2–115, [1], 117–309, 10 leaves. Very good condition, two minor paper reinforcements, light staining. Fine copies, on blue paper — wide margins — magnificent matching bindings.
