By Reb Menachem ben Aharon ben Zerach, one of the sages of Spain in the 14th century and a disciple of Reb Yehudah ben HaRosh. The work is divided into five parts: 1. Matters relating to prayers and blessings. 2. Issur VeHeter. 3. Hilchos Noshim. 4. Shabbosos and Moadim. 5. Fast days. At the end appears a treatise on the coming of Moshiach. Rare. Copy with the folding plate at the end, lacking in most copies. On the reverse side of one of the folding plates appears an ownership inscription: ”Ne'um Yehuda hanikra Yudel ben Meir.” In addition, there is an unidentified signature in the middle of the book. Sabbioneta, [1567]. Printed by Vincenzo Conti. Second edition. Reb Menachem ben Zerach: One of the sages of Spain in the 14th century. He was born in the region of Navarre around the year [1315] to a father descended from the exiles of France. During the persecutions of the year 1327, he alone survived after all the members of his family were murdered by a horseman who had been a friend of his father's household. He studied in Toledo under Reb Yehoshua Ibn Shu'eiv and Reb Yehudah ben HaRosh. In [1369], he was appointed by the minister Don Shmuel Abarbanel as Rosh Yeshiva in Toledo.
