Sefer “Yerushalayim” — a miniature volume with illustrations of the holy sites. Jerusalem, 5644 [1884]. - Sefer “Yerushalayim” — “It shall contain a brief account of the periods and characteristics of the four holy places: Jerusalem, the Temple Mount, Mount Zion, and the Beis Yaakov synagogue, with eleven engraved illustrations, ” by Tuvia son of R’ Y.M. Salomon. Jerusalem, 5644 [1884]. A work on the city of Jerusalem and its holy sites, in a rare miniature format, printed so that it may be “carried by the ‘Ben Tzion’ at all times in his pocket.” Includes illustrations of the holy places. The title “Yerushalayim” and parts of the ornamental frames of the illustrations are printed in gilt ink. The author, Tuvia Solomon (1862–1951), was a printer, poet, writer, and scholar, son of Yoel Moshe Salomon. S. Halevi no. 456 (noting: “contains much interesting material on Jerusalem”).
