Chamishah Chumshei Torah. Pocket Edition With Leather Binding. Amsterdam, 1701. - Five Books of the Torah with Megillos and Haftaros, Amsterdam, [1699–1701], printed by Emanuel Atias. Rare pocket format edition. Fine edition in small and uncommon format, printed by Emanuel Atias in Amsterdam, bound in an old leather binding with gilt embossings  [somewhat worn]. Before the title page is a splendid copper-engraved title page dated 5501, while the title page itself bears the date 5500. A special additional title page for the Haftaros is also printed, likewise dated 5501. At the beginning of the book are approbations of the rabbis and heads of yeshivos of Amsterdam, Frankfurt am Main, and Metz. The Torah portions are numbered in an old-style script. [1], 161, [1], 63 leaves. 13 cm. Well preserved, with a few typical age stains. Good condition.
