The glosses of the Arizal on the entire Zohar, edited by the mekubal Reb Moshe Zacuto – the Ramaz. One of the foundational works in establishing the text of the Zohar in its authentic form. In the concluding remarks of the book, the Ramaz writes: “The errors … found in the Zohar in variant words and different matters, also additions … and omissions beyond counting … are only through … the Arizal … but I wish to inform … that in all Sefer Bereishis and from Vayikra onward, in everything, it is without doubt the glosses of the Arizal. However, in parts of Sefer Shemos my heart is uncertain … whether it is from the body of the Arizal who extracts the honey, or whether part of it is from earlier glosses, although most agree in several places with the opinion of the Arizal.” Up to leaf 33 it was edited by the mekubal Reb Yosef Chamis, who published the book; from there until the end it was edited by the Ramaz. Bibliography: Stefansky, Sifrei Yesod, p. 103 in the addenda. A number of wormholes and tunnels, mostly not affecting the text. The condition of the leaves and copy, apart from the worming, is good.
