Rare Haggadah – Chevel Bnei Yehudah. Mantua–Venice, 1694–1695. - Very Rare Haggadah! Chevel Bnei Yehudah – a commentary on the Haggadah shel Pesach according to the teachings of Sod, together with the text of the Haggadah. By the gaon and mekubal Reb Shimon Chavilio ben Reb Yehudah Chavilio. Mantua, 1694. First edition. An important work on the Haggadah shel Pesach, containing commentaries and derashos based on Kabbalah and the mysteries of the Seder night. On leaf 3 is printed a special prayer composed by the author: ”Bakashah SheYisadeti Al Nekudos Eser Sefiros.” The work was printed with the approbations of the leading sages of Aram Tzovah, including Reb Shlomo Laniado, Reb Yosef HaDayan, and Reb Moshe Harari, as well as the approbation of the gaon and mekubal Reb Moshe Zacuto (the Ramaz), one of the foremost mekubalim in Italy of his generation. From a bibliographical perspective, it should be noted that through leaf 40 the book was printed in Mantua, while from leaf 41 onward the printing was completed in Venice, as is evident from the change in the typeface and printing style.
