Maseches Zevachim from the Babylonian Talmud, printed in Basel (Basilea) by Ambrosius Froben, 1580. A significant edition among the earliest printings of the Talmud issued after the burning of Talmudic books in Italy in 1554–1555, during a period of strict Christian censorship. As a result, this edition contains changes and erasures in several places in the Talmudic text.
