Beit HeChalutz – Articles and Statistics about the Borochov Training Commune in Lodz – Lodz, 1934 – Photographs
"Beit HeChalutz", edited by Chaim Szwizgold. Published by "The Patron of  Borochov  Commune in Lodz, a company of the - Chaluts movement in Poland, "
The booklet was printed to honour  the opening celebrations of the "Beit Hechalutz" in Lodz - the building to which the Borochov Commune moved in 1934, and includes a number of photographs of the commune members.
The training commune in Lodz was supported by benefactors, a mature public committee that helped the training members find work, provided medical support, nurtured sports activities, encouraged cultural life and, most importantly, provided public support . Many of the members of the training engaged in hard labor and their wages were low. In 1934, the abandoned factory surrounded by gardens was located in Lodz on the outskirts of the city.
