Item/Description: Original impressionist oil painting by New York artist Robert Berger. Features a view looking up at the snowy sky through bare trees. Signed lower right: Berger. Titled and dated on stretcher bar: #46 / Light Snow / 1986. <BR><BR>"Robert Berger is unique among artists on the contemporary New York Scene. Many of them are voluptuous female nudes who seem to be revelling in their own flesh, just as Berger does in the thickly encrusted paint with which he creates them. In many of the large canvases, energy lines zoom out from the center, suggesting perspective, but this is contradicted by the way the figures hug the picture plane. 6. Taurus Auctions reserves the right to refuse admission to our facility, reject any bid or to refuse to acknowledge certain bidders. The highest bidder, whether in the salesroom, absentee, on the telephone or online will be acknowledged and recorded by the auctioneer. <BR><BR>

7. The purchase price payable by the buyer shall be the sum of the final bid plus a buyer's premium of 18% and any applicable taxes in the state of New Jersey. <BR>

8. Taurus Auctions is not responsible for items left at our facility for more than fifteen days.<BR><BR>

9. Purchases are subject to 6.625 % New Jersey State sales tax unless you are a registered dealer or re-seller and exempt from state and local sales tax in which case a completed New Jersey resale certificates must be provided to Taurus Auctions Auctions prior to the time of purchase. <BR><BR>

Taurus Auctions is not liable for damaged or missing items after they are signed out and removed from the gallery.  Taurus Auctions is not responsible for or liable for any lots paid for and not picked up within 14 days of auction date. By departing from the pickup site you, or your agent, acknowledges that you have all your items and that you are satisfied with them. No claims are permitted after removing items from the premises, as condition issues cannot be validated once items are released into your possession.  Taurus Auctions is open Monday through Friday 10AM - 5PM for pick up.
