Norwegian Silver Scarab Beetle Pendant - Item/Description: Mid-Century Egyptian Revival scarab pendant. Ornate Modernist setting handcrafted in 830 Silver. Bezel set luminous red stone, possibly amber carved as scarab. Closed back setting. Oval stone complements the oval shaped setting and loop like silver accents and hanging bale. Hallmarked: 830S NRSI HAANDSMEDET. Material: 830 Silver, red hardstone Dimensions: Length: 2 1/4” (including bale); Width: 1”; approximately 9 grams Condition: Good. Silver free of dents, repair. Stone secure in setting, Signs of age, use and wear including scratches, scuffs to stone, surface debris, patina and tarnish to silver.
