Museum label adhered en verso reads in part: Uri and Rami Nehostan, the Art Museum in Ashdot Yaacov, Israel. Ghera Benn (Russian / French) was a musician and dancer of Russian origin. She met the artist Benn (Rabinowicz Benejou 1905-1989) in 1930 and became his model and muse. They married in 1938.
