Blade marked with a circled ”B” and an ”M” with a crown in a circle, along with additional makers marks. Metal scabbard marked: D 38817. (M1866, Yataghan, Chassepot) Material: Metal, Brass Dimensions: Overall Length: 28”; Width: 3 3/4”. Bayonet Length: 27 1/2”. Blade Length: 22 5/8” Condition: Signs of age and wear include surface scratches, scuffing, oxidation, and pitting.
