Ricasso marked US 1863, with additional Arsenal Inspector Marks: Initials ”F.S.S.” (Frederick S. Strong) on one side and C. Roby / W. Chelmsford MS on the other. F.S.S. mark also on handle. Brass guard and grip. No scabbard.
