Waterbury Carriage Clock on Decorative Legs - Item/Description: Late 19th-century Victorian-style Waterbury carriage clock in highly ornate, gilt-brass case with a top handle and decorative legs. Features a white enamel dial with Roman numerals, a carrying handle and beveled glass panels on sides and top. Back brass plate stamped ”Waterbury Clock Co” with 1890 patent dates. (Rococo-style, travel clock, desk clock, mantel clock, shelf clock) Waterbury Clock Company, established in Waterbury, Connecticut, in 1857. Material: Brass, Metal, Glass Dimensions: Length: 3 1/2”; Width: 3”; Height: 5 1/2” Condition: Signs of age and wear include surface scratches, scuffing, oxidation.
