Art Deco Aluminum Industrial Torchiere Lamp - Item/Description: Vintage Art Deco or Machine Age style table lamp, typically produced in the United States around the 1930s to 1950s. The modernist style is modernist, features an ”hourglass” or double-cone shape made from spun aluminum with a brushed or polished finish, separated by a clear glass sphere in the center. It serves as a torchiere or uplight, designed to direct light upwards to create ambient illumination in a room.
