The ornate relief, scalloped edges, pink rose pattern, and heavy gold gilding are all characteristic design elements of porcelain produced in the Carlsbad (Karlovy Vary) region during the Austro-Hungarian Empire era (1867-1918). Marked on underside with manufacturer's mark and ”Carlsbad China Austria”.
