Limited Edition 1/6 Hartmann Musical Carousel - Item/Description: Limited-edition French musical carousel by Jean-Paul Hartmann (Creations J.P. Hartmann), signed and numbered 1/6 on underside. Hand-crafted from iron and copper, and fitted with a Reuge musical movement playing ”The Magic Flute” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Tiered polychrome base and articulated rotating elements reflecting late 20th-century French artisanal automata traditions. Note on underside in French translates to ”Mechanical or steam-powered iron and copper toys, entirely handmade and hand-painted: unique, signed, and numbered pieces.” Material: Mixed, Iron, Copper Dimensions: Length: 5”; Width: 5”; Height: 11” Condition: Currently in working condition but periodically gets stuck.
