Mexican Talavera Tile & Wood Trinket Box - Item/Description: Mexican hand-carved dark wood jewelry or trinket box featuring a beveled lid with a Talavera ceramic tile featuring a cobalt blue and white acanthus scroll pattern and a yellow-centered floral motif. The frame is decorated with repetitive notch-carving along the top edges, fitted with a simple brass-tone metal latch, and is elevated on four small, integral wooden feet.
